HEAL- St. Vincent de Paul

Who We Are

Established in 1995, the St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy provides prescription medications at no cost to individuals who cannot afford them, helping prevent dangerous practices like skipping doses or splitting critical medications.

The pharmacy is powered by a small staff and dedicated volunteers, including pharmacists and client screeners, and supported by generous community partners, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical assistance programs. Through referrals and careful eligibility screening based on income and expenses, the program ensures life-saving medications reach those who need them most.

The St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy serves as a pharmacy of last resort, ensuring individuals do not go without life-sustaining medications. With community support, we improve quality of life and provide a vital safety net for those in need.

What We Do

Volunteers include client screeners, pharmacists, and medication sorters. Some HEAL volunteers also help with our annual Fill-A-Prescription program and fundraisers for our pharmacy.
